There are a few showers still present, mainly in Deep East Texas, but the wet weather will continue to shift eastward throughout the day. Expect mostly cloudy skies. Highs will top out in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Ready for the soggy conditions to end? Monday will bring with it drier conditions. The morning will be on the cloudier side, but the cloud cover will clear going towards the afternoon. Temperatures will reach near 70 degrees by the afternoon.
The break from the rain will be short lived. Rain returns Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms will once again impact the East Texas landscape. Some of these showers could produce very heavy rainfall. Rain will continue Wednesday as well. Wednesday will feature a frontal passage. The cold front will cause temperatures to suffer on Thursday. Highs will drop near 70 degrees on Wednesday to the low 60s on Thursday. The work week concludes with dry and mild conditions. Mostly sunny skies await us on Saturday.
