There does remain a chance for sctrd showers and maybe an isolated thundershower over the northeastern sections of ETX this afternoon. An outflow boundary continues to move southward over portions of our area from the strong storms over Oklahoma this morning. Nothing is expected to become severe... Highs today will top out in the upper 80s...with a few hitting the 90 degree mark. Overnight tonight, mostly clear skies becoming mostly cloudy before sunrise Friday morning with chances for patchy fog developing again, so please slow down and be extra careful. Lows dropping into the upper 60s and lower 70s.

The chance for a few afternoon/early evening showers is in the forecast for your Friday and for Saturday, but we are not expecting a widespread or heavy rainfall. Highs on Friday will be mainly in the middle to upper 80s.

Your holiday weekend looks very nice with highs getting into the middle to upper 80s, for the most part, but a few may reach 90 for an hour or two.
