Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued for some East Texas counties

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Several East Texas counties have been placed under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch Sunday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Rains, Van Zandt, Camp, Hopkins, Titus, Wood, Cass, Franklin, Morris, Bowie, and Upshur Counties until midnight.

The National Weather Service said the primary threats include scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible, scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible.
