UPDATE: No injuries reported after vehicle hits tree at Tyler State Park

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - UPDATE: No injuries have been reported after a vehicle hit a tree at Tyler State Park.

The call originally came in about a person pinned in a vehicle following the accident. Crews arrived at the scene and discovered that the person was not pinned in the vehicle.

Emergency crews are responding to an accident involving a truck hitting a tree at Tyler State Park.

According to the Smith County Fire Marshal’s Office, the accident is in the 1400 block of Park Road 16. This is within the limits of Tyler State Park.

The fire marshal said the call came in about a Toyota Tundra running into a tree. They said a person is pinned inside the vehicle at this time.

Red Springs and Winona Fire are responding to the scene.
