EAST TEXAS (KLTV/KTRE) - Pack the umbrella today because it is going to be a rainy afternoon. Temperatures this afternoon will top off in the middle 60s with winds coming up from the southwest. The rain will continue all afternoon, overnight and possibly into the start of Tuesday morning. Overnight lows will sink to the lower 40s. A cold front is coming through on Tuesday morning that will clear out the clouds and leave us with sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds on Tuesday will be a bit gusty, up to about 20 mph. Sunny skies will remain through Wednesday with temperatures rising into the middle 60s. Thursday the clouds come back in and bring low rain chances with temperatures making a run at 70 degrees. Yet another cold front comes through on Friday taking away the clouds and dropping the temperatures into the lower 60s. For the weekend we should have mostly to partly sunny skies with temperatures in the middle 50s.
