East Texas (KLTV) - Here is the Weather Where You Live... A fairly quiet weather pattern for a day or two, then things begin to change here in East Texas. The first of two fronts is expected to pass through our area on Thursday morning. Only a slight chance for any rain with this front that will move in from the West...so not much cool air at all with this one. The second front, the stronger of the two, will move into East Texas early on Saturday morning. Showers and a few isolated thundershowers are likely with the passage of this front. The biggest change will be the cold air with this front. Highs on Friday afternoon could rise into the lower 70s, then the front moves through, then highs by Sunday afternoon...The upper 30s. Yes, HIGHS!!! Winds will be very breezy behind Friday’s front so Wind Chills will be fairly cold as well. During the day on Sunday, wind chills during the afternoon will be in the upper teens to lower 20s throughout the day. The only good news here is that we start warming up very quickly next week.
