East Texas (KLTV/KTRE) - Here’s a look at the weather where you live: Stubborn clouds will stay in place over East Texas overnight into tomorrow. While the cloud cover may help slightly in keeping our overnight lows above freezing, the air will become fairly calm as well so expect a range of mid to lower 30s tomorrow morning. Partly to mostly cloudy skies tomorrow afternoon will result in cooler temperatures again with highs struggling to reach 50 degrees. Our saving grace tomorrow will be the much calmer winds so tomorrow at least won’t quite have a bite to it as today did. Heading into Tuesday we should start mostly sunny with winds shifting more from the south. A dry warming trend will take place starting Tuesday with highs warming into the lower 60s by Wednesday will continue to climb to near 70 degrees by Friday! An upper-level disturbance is expected late Wednesday/early Thursday, although total coverage and rainfall amounts are thankfully looking fairly low at this time. Late Friday a strong, arctic cold front will arrive in East Texas bringing more widespread rain and much colder temperatures. We very well may see our warmest temperatures on Saturday during the morning hours before the cold air starts to spill into East Texas with highs struggling to reach the middle 40s before dipping into the upper 20s on Sunday morning. As we head later into the week, be sure to enjoy the warmer temperatures while they last!
