GREENVILLE, TX (KLTV) - It’s a girl! A birth announcement by an East Texas fire department is getting a lot of ‘likes’ on social media.
This new arrival wasn’t a baby, however.
The Greenville Fire Department is proud of their brand new fire engine and created a clever post on Facebook to share the news.
According to the department, the truck arrived Tuesday, "weighing 41,500 lbs and is 34' 5" long and 10' 4" tall!"
They even held a push-in ceremony alongside the original 1948 pumper truck.
The city offered congratulations to the proud “parents” at station number one.
