East Texan shines in Texans loss

Keke Coutee talks about the end of his rookie season

LUFKIN, TX (KLTV/KTRE) - Lufkin native Keke Coutee scored the only touchdown in the 21-7 loss in the Texans loss to the Colts in the AFC Wildcard game. DeAndre Hopkins their top receiver played with an injured shoulder. Coutee had 11 catches 110 yards. He ends his rookie season on an individual high note, after returning from a hamstring injury. While cleaning out his locker he shared post season thoughts.

Texans wide receiver and Lufkin native, Keke Coutee said, “You know we still hot you know even though yesterday things didn’t go as planned, like I said last night turn the page and get better during the off season. fixing to go in a couple of days be ready next year. You know I don’t go into games with a plan I just do what I can to help this team win. Anyway I can but, to be out there you know I get my team a chance actually help my team. My team a chance to win so. How much to be out there..it gonna be good.”
