Mahomes named AP All-Pro

Patrick Mahomes Beats Out Drew Brees for AP All-Pro Award

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - He burst on the scene in his first full season as a starter, and garnered more votes than his runner up. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes received 45 of the possible 50 votes to be named AP All Pro, beating out Saints QB Drew Brees.

Mahomes threw 50 TD passes, and passed for over 5000 yards, only other to complete the feat Peyton Manning.

His weapons Travis Kelce TE, Tyreek Hill WR and offensive lineman Mitchell Ward join him as All Pros, Chiefs and Bears only two teams with four selection. Maybe the All Pro QB selection translates to MVP.
