EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Two East Texans are $1 million richer after they bought winning scratch-off tickets.
One person lives in Longview and the other lives in Tennessee Colony.
According to a press release, a Longview resident claimed a top prize-winning Stacks of Cash ticket worth $1 million. The ticket was purchased at Kwik Food Mart No. 2, which is located at 701 S. Eastman Road. The claimant elected to remain anonymous.
The winning ticket was the sixth of 15 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the game. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.37, including break-even prizes.
A Tennessee Colony resident also claimed a $1 million prize in the $500,000,000 Cash scratch-off game.
The ticket was purchased at CEFCO Food Store No. 65, which is located at 1620 W. Main Street in Gatesville, the press release stated. Like the other winner, the Tennessee Colony resident chose to remain anonymous.
The winning ticket was the 16th of 40 second-tier prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the game. The game offers more than $500 million in total prizes, including 10 top prizes of $2.5 million. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 2.76, including break-even prizes.
