VAN ZANDT COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A Dallas man has been arrested in connection with a December fatal crash which killed a woman in Grand Saline.
Mark Anthony Ratcliff, 29, is charged with criminally negligent homicide.
Ratcliff was the driver of a 2010 Ford F-150 on Dec. 19 when he drove into a 2012 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Martha Jane Maxfield, 51, who was driving south on FM 17.
According to the preliminary report, Maxfield did not yield the right-of-way at the intersection of US 80. However, according to DPS spokeswoman Jean Dark, the final report indicated Ratcliff was driving at a speed of 82 miles per hour in a zone with a speed limit of 40.
Ratcliff was arrested on the charge Wednesday. His bond has not yet been set.
